The Wildcat Wishes Award
for all Pre K-12 educators in Pima County
The Wildcat Wishes Award is an award given to local K-12 Tucson educators who are in need of resources, classroom supplies, etc. For this award, local teachers are able to submit a proposal application or "wish" outlining what they desire for their classroom (i.e an in-class library, paint and canvas, field trip fees, etc), why they need said resources/materials, and how the resources/materials would be beneficial to the learning experience of their students. Then, we as an organization will select a teacher to be the recipient of the award whose "wish" we will grant and deliver firsthand. This is a great opportunity for us to give back to the individuals who provide our local youth with the skills and knowledge essential for a successful future and to provide our local students with quality educational materials.
How to Apply
The Wildcat Wishes Award application for Fall 2021 is now open! The deadline to submit an application is October 24th, 2021 by 11:59 PM. Winners will be notified by November 1st, 2021!

Who can apply?
-Any and all Pre K-12 teachers located in Pima County, AZ (if you are unsure whether you are eligible, please feel free to contact us!)
When is the application process?
- The application will is now open and will close on October 24th, 2021 at 11:59pm. Winners will be notified on November 1st, 2021.
How will the winner be selected?
- The Wildcat Wishes Foundation will meet to discuss who will be the recipient of their proposed "wish." The winner will be selected based upon NEED and POTENTIAL IMPACT OF RESOURCES
How many recipients will be selected?
- Varies depending on fundraising success, but likely 3-10 teachers.

What items can I request?
- Pretty much anything that you can justify as useful in the classroom setting! In the past, we've awarded books, sand therapy tools, clear masks, dry erase lapboards, markers and erasers, stickers, graduation caps, and more!
